Monolayer h-BN's crystalline quality and surface morphology are demonstrably enhanced by the application of HTA. Our first-principles calculations highlight that h-BN promotes the lateral movement of Al atoms, diminishing the surface migration barrier (less than 0.14 eV), and subsequently accelerating the formation of an AlN film by coalescence. The HTA h-BN treatment exhibits substantial effectiveness in decreasing dislocation density and mitigating the substantial strain accumulated in the AlN epilayer. The 290 nm DUV-LED, fabricated with a low-stress, high-quality AlN film grown on an HTA h-BN substrate, demonstrates an 80% enhancement in luminescence compared to devices without h-BN, and exhibits very good reliability, with a negligible wavelength shift even at high current levels. Further applications for h-BN in III-nitride systems are suggested by these findings, offering a chance to refine large-scale DUV optoelectronic device fabrication on heterogeneous substrates featuring considerable lattice mismatch.

Ambulatory care registered nurses and health professions students typically lack sufficient interprofessional care training before starting clinical rotations. This paper details a program evaluation of a simulation-enhanced interprofessional educational initiative (Sim-IPE) for ambulatory care registered nurses and health students. To gauge perceptions of the Sim-IPE experience, an 11-item electronic post-Sim-IPE survey was employed. The majority of feedback pointed to Sim-IPE's success in facilitating understanding of each other's roles, its suitability to the participants' knowledge and skills, and the provision of sufficient information. According to the participants, they felt supported and planned to implement their learned skills within a clinical context.
